Pet Apartments
No one should have to leave their pet behind when seeking safety.
For many people, pets are part of the family. However, for people in violent situations, fear for their animals' safety — or the heartbreak of leaving them behind — can keep them from seeking help. That’s why we're introducing Animal Apartments — dedicated, on-site housing for cats and dogs to live while survivors are housed in our shelter. The apartments can house up to two pet families at a time, providing a safe space for pets while their owners rebuild.
Set to open by the end of September, these apartments are being built with support from Greater Good Charities, who are overseeing construction as our general contractor.
We’re asking for your support! Financial donations are needed to assist with the construction. At this time we are not accepting food or pet supplies.
